Cute Stuff!

Bird Update: This morning, my husband saw two different birds trying to drive each other off - they were BOTH trying to sit on that nest!! What the heck?(See yesterday's post if you have no idea what I'm talking about.) Now on to today's post...

Cute, Cute, CUTE!! They make me smile.
Each little zippered pouch has a split ring (hidden behind the hair, LOL) so it can hang from a child's bookbag to hold a house key, lunch money or milk money. Hang them from a pool tote to hold pool passes or even from a stroller or diaper bag to keep the extra pacis clean!

Lots of colors and fabrics to choose from. More 'boyish' versions available.

And speaking of coin/change purses...see this owl? It's a change purse! The back has a little overlapping closure, kind of like the closure on a pillow sham.

Oh, and here are two more koozies I made. I like that cheery yellow!

Glad you could stop by and, if you're in the US, I hope you had a great Memorial Day!

New Stuff!

Here's a little glimpse of what I've been up to!
I am really excited about our new polka-dotted bottle koozies.

I also whipped up a couple more of these owl cardholder/keychains:
Ridiculously cute!

And how cute are these Tooth Fairy Pillows for two little sisters:

This is way cuter in person - the turtle's shell is a nice, grassy green:

That bib and burpie about killed me.
The burpie embroidery was aaaaaallllmost done
when something went wrong and I had to start over. ARGHHH!!!!

And now you're going to have to put up with another proud Nannie moment!
ZOEY HAS PAINTED TOES!!! How cute is THAT?!
You can see by the blurriness of the picture that this was a real feat (bad pun intended) for Zoey's momma! Great job, Sarah! Nannie would have had polish all over Zoey's feet!

I'm so happy you could visit. Come back and see me soon!

GIVEAWAY!!

YESSS!!! Another giveaway!

But first, I am SO excited to show you my latest project!!
Drumroll...
TA-DA!!!!
Frou-Frou Koozies!!

I also have black zebra koozies available, and, of course, there are limitless embroidery colors and several yummy types of embellishments to choose from, including sequined trim, crystals, rickrack, rhinestones and buttons! Hey, slap one of these on your water bottle and you'll never again have to worry that you've just taken a slug of someone else's water! (Ewww!!)

OH, and I'm working on the prototype of a wine sleeve with the same basic principle. What a great way for the gift of a bottle of wine last longer than the dinner!

Unfortunately, I'm ILL. I'm sick with a slight fever and hacking cough. So hacking, in fact, that I burst a blood vessel in my eye. It does not hurt and it does not need treatment but it sure looks gross as all get-out. I dragged myself to school, only to put up with an entire day of this type of comment from my kindergartners..."You look like a mummy." "No, she looks like a zombie!" "A monster, arghhh!!"
The last straw was late in the day, when a little girl looked at me tearfully and said she was afraid to go to sleep tonight because my eye will give her nightmares.

So on that note, I'm off to bed.
I'll post the particulars of the giveaway tomorrow or whenever I return from the land of the Zombies.

Thanks for stopping by!
