What I'm Up To

It's been one of those weekends where I feel like I've gotten a lot accomplished, but somehow don't have much to show for it! I did get a lot done, but none of it was so exciting that you'd like to see pictures, LOL. I did monogram 6 baby items for someone at work, but they were all purchased items, nothing I made 'from scratch'. I cleaned and reorganized my sewing cabinet (which was SCARY) and am ready to start organizing my MESS of fabric scraps tomorrow. Not exciting, but necessary. Actually, I really am kind of excited to use the plastic drawer unit I bought to tame my embroidery fabric scraps...that's when you know I don't have much of a life...excitement over a plastic drawer unit and fabric scraps, LOL. (When I have fabric scraps from quilting, I just cut them up into uniform sizes, using Bonnie Hunter's Scrap Users System. That won't work for embroidery, though, where I need the flexibility of larger scraps.) I installed a few more programs onto our new computer and was actually able to troubleshoot our printer's issues...

OH, I do have this cute bib I made:
You can probably guess who it's for!
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hope you made a more "manly" version for your Avery...since he should be here by then! :-)
