Just got back last night from our trip to see our little grandson, Avery (well, and his mommy and daddy, of course!) Here's Avery with his mommy, Rachel:
Rachel had to go out of town for a few days for business while we were there. In fact, we timed our trip so we'd be there to help take care of Avery while she was gone. Good thing, too! Typical of how things work, Avery came down with roseola the minute she walked out the door!!
Our son is a new father and was pretty overwhelmed with trying to take care of a fussy, sick little one. I was SO glad we were there to help him. Funny how those old skills just kick back in when you need them...
